In a week when O F Pack, Brookfarm and Roll 'n' Recycle won two Gold PIDAs, the consortium was also notified that we are finalists in the Recyclable Packaging category of the Sustainable Packaging Awards, with winners to be announced at the end of September 2021.
Another incredible recognition for this innovative kerbside recycling solution that has been created for monopolymer flexible packaging.
The four finalists in the Recyclable Packaging category are:
- All Smarties in paper packaging - Nestlé (Switzerland). Eliminating 250 million non-recyclable plastic packs.
- ElifProLite - Elif Plastik Ambalaj San. ve Tic. A.S (Turkey). Recyclable high barrier laminate solution.
- NEW PEEL - KOROZO FLEXIBLES (Turkey). Recyclable lidding film for PP meat trays.
- Roll 'n' Recycle Pouch - OF Packaging & Roll 'n' Recycle (Australia). High-barrier mono-PE pouch.
Being a finalist in this prestigious awards program will provide further confidence to the brands that wish to join the program to help their customers recycle monopolymer flexible packaging at home, even if they don't live in Germany, Netherlands or Belgium!
